台鐵新自強號昨（21）日發生出軌意外，相關人員徹夜搶修。台鐵公司稍早表示，已於今日13:47完成和仁=崇德間西正線搶修，經試運轉確認安全無虞後恢復通車。

台鐵公司說明，有關229次(3000型自強號)於昨日16:50行經崇德=和仁間51K+300西正線(和仁隧道南口)，因大清水溪土石溢流覆蓋軌面之衝擊事故，於今日13：47 完成和仁=崇德間西正線搶修，經試運轉確認安全無虞後恢復通車；另為維護行車安全，列車暫以30公里/小時慢行通過，行經該區間之列車平均將延誤約5~10分鐘。

台鐵公司表示，因本次天災事故影響，造成旅客不便，公司深致歉忱。
